place is a joke .. and for some reason the women who answers the phone think they are GPs and nurses

Appalling surgery- rude receptionists (who seem to think they are medically trained as doctors), few doctors who seem to actually care about their patients, very slow process of referalls (even for urgent surgeries) and slow pharmacy. Would never recommend this surgery to anyone!!
Castle surgery used to be the best around and even with the service of drs phoning you back before getting an appointment was sort of acceptable but this change where you can only phone between 8.00 and 11.00 now to get an appointment is ridiculous. How many people have the time to hang on the phone to get somebody to answer the phone. I work and would not be popular if I had to hang on trying to get an appointment. I know this ridiculous idea is implemented in some other surgeries and I also know that a colleague gave up trying to get an appointment after two weeks of there being no appointments available by the time she could get through. Ridiculous situation.
The asthma support team Philip and Caroline are brilliant / excellent. I have mostly seen two doctors when I have needed to i.e. Dr Gama and Dr Lilly and they are exceptional. Their patient care exudes through their professional excellence. Thank you.
